There is just no ways to get this work! Cain took millions years to find the password (which I am not sure is 12 or 20 digit). I bought this MJ just because of the SIP. I want to use it at my home phone rather than through computer!
I make this post just to let other people know that it is not easy to setup on VOIP adapter anymore! I got trick by the post "Sticky: Walk-through to configure a different softphone"! I thought it is very easy to setup so I bought it!
I guess I will just refund it!

Some things require continuing education on your part if you want to essentially "hack" something you have purchased. I would further point out that this forum's name is prefixed "unofficial" so you should assume that you will not find "official" support here, especially support that violates the TOS you agreed to when you bought or trialed your official product.

Re: SIP password
well is not supposed to be easy, otherwise MJ will loose money and they wont be able to provide support cause you used a third party device.mugen_rsx wrote:There is just no ways to get this work! Me personally I enjoy my MJ,
as for always having the computer, That is not a problem for me, as i run a few server, I just plug it in and leave it there, it has been 2 weeks already and not had a problem, I never turn my server of, So dont have to worried about my MJ being turn of or missing calls cause is not online.
Don't get me wrong! This piece of device is great, unfortunately, it is just not for me! There are two reason that it is not for me! It doesn't have my local phone number! Second, it cannot run on PowerPC Mac!
I hate the fact that the "STICK" a old post on top of this page, which really mislead me to get it!

sorry to hear you having such a hard time and not working with your mac,
it is a good device, but it just limited to some lucky users that have a laptop and or desktop to run this device on , but in time it will be running smooth on your mac, it was officially lunch n march and out to the public in big broad to beta test there device .
I see it more like us paying to test a device, that once it's a finish product, they will jack up the price to cover the cost and to be able to support it, I do hope that is the reason and dont close down for good .
