MJ and video game interference

When I am playing Half Life 2 and the phone rings it gets real strange, (the phone not the game; it's strange enough). The ringer keeps ringing non stop and when I answer it, there's nobody there. Now, is this the game or MJ causing this? Has anyone else experienced this? Seems to only happen when I have the game playing. Other then that it works fine most the time.

I play Halo Combat Evolved( old but still fun ), Crysis and Call of Duty Modern warfare, MJ installed on the same machine... No problems incoming and out on this end.
