new to MJPlus

Post by omar4578 »

ok so i did a little research on this forum earlier and did find a solution to my question but it was very hard to understand..

i hope someone can help me out..

ok so currently i have att uverse and att home phone service.

i would like to connect the MJPlus and KEEP my current home number.

1-i have no idea how to do this

2-i am considering taking att out of my life and get a cabled internet or whatever isnt att...(dont really like their CS)

so my question/ dilemma is,
if i were to keep att uverse how would i go by cancelling the home phone and porting it to MJPlus?

also if i were to cancel att all together how would i go by installing MJPlus and routing my same number with the new internet provider?

thanks in advance!! (im hoping to become one if the millions that saved tons with the magic jack!!! :) )

First if you want to keep your number do not cancel your current service.

Simply begin the porting by making a request to what ever company you wish to port to; in this case I guess that is MJ.

When the port is completed your service with the original provider of the number you wish to keep will automatically terminate your service at that time.

Once the port is done At&t will also cancel all your other services associated with uverse. If you want to keep uverse internet and tv then it may get a little ugly. If you plan on doing this, let me know. I'll tell you what I had to do to get my service back on.
