MagicJack-offs fail to fix annoyance now is pisser!

The annoying pop-up and magicjack's insistence of occupying my screen (dead center) on boot-up like a wall street protester is an annoyance I can live with, given the other values of the device. But one thing is doubly annoying, it's when I am trying to dial a number that is on my screen such as a craigslist ad, that fricking box pops up right when I am reading the number and start dialing.. I'm like what the hmmmmph and evict the worthless intruder back to it's hole on the taskbar, but then the damned thing by the time I get back to the screen to finish dialing the fricking number, has dialed a three digit number (or however many digits I got to) WTF? don't they know there are no 3 digit numbers? Why is this program so sucky? Did they not even try it before marketing it? Actually what pisses me off is that this has been doing this since forever and even after all this time, they haven't done a thing to fix it. That's what pisses me off. And also that they lie about the price of magicjack plus per year. They say it's 19.99 per year, but that's only if you buy 5 years at 99.95. So it is actually 99.95 per 5 years, and 29.99 per year. If you could purchase ONE YEAR for 19.99, then they could say that. But they insist on misleading advertising. I thought anyone who would take down the phone companies was the coolest ever, until I see them doing the same kind of bs. What's next deaf people text intercontinental federal surcharge initiative fee taxes? WHY should I buy their new product when their original sucked and there is likely better competition. especially when who knows when they will magicJack up the prices again. And you can't advertise on craigslist if you have only a magicjack, they will not allow it. I used to love this thing. Not so much lately. Actually the device is so much better than the company.

The way I take the edge off some of the MJ aggravations is with windows desktop from sysinternals. That way the pop ups will not interfere with normal business.

If you have an old laptop, preferably one that runs on less power than not, and a router, just keep MJ running on it! This is a use I found for an old laptop I had laying around. Sure beats running 700W just so I can receive calls.
