Local Exchange Issue

When I place a local call, there are several exchanges that do not seem to work. They are in my call area, but in a neighboring town. MJ Support cannot seem to resolve the issue.

Anybody know what is going on....

MY number is 928-254-xxxx and I can't call any number in 928-282-xxxx.

I did just test call a few numbers in the 928-282-xxxx exchange to some state and local government numbers. Instead of the usual hangup MJ does with a blocked exchange, I got a ring or 2, and then 3 high tones and the "We're sorry your call cannot be completed as dialed please check the number" automated message.

I haven't paid much attention to the blocked exchange issue lately. But either MJ has changed their old routine and are now connecting into that familiar message or something else is going on.
