I thought that maybe if I left it alone overnight this thing would fix/upgrade itself but I was wrong & that damned message is still on the left side of my softphone, am I really the only person to have this problem?
I bought my MJ in october or maybe it was november 07 and I've read that they have since then started shipping out newer builds of the hardware, maybe this is the cause?
I've been patient with MJ being in beta (the dropped calls, unavailable hometown #, very unstable weekends, etc.) but this has been the longest inoperable period yet. I never contacted support before because of my patients but this is just a little to long of an "60 second upgrade" so I guess this will be the first.
Man, and for the last month or so It seemed like the service had gotten a lot more stable, now this.

Up until this month it was running on a old IBM and was working although not very stable(asuming it's because it's still in beta) but it served it's purpose, then my new quadcore workstation arrived and I hesitantly installed MJ on it and the sevice seemed alot more stable(no dropped calls). Now somewhere between 1:00pm & 9:00pm sun April 20, while i was out, this "60 second upgrade" message showed up and never left. Also CPU usage seems normal on both machines with MJ ...oh and I forgot to mention the middle MJ window says please connect to internet then double click here, I did that and I get "MagicJack was unable to connect to our registration service please check your internet connection if you can browse other web pages it means our server is temporarily down please start the phone in a few minutes we apologize for any inconvenience"

Glad is working bud.KnewJack wrote: Magicfix fixed my problem sorry for all the blah blah blah
magiccheck or whatever it's called initially gave me all green check marks indicating I was good to go but I apparently was not so I downloaded the IMPORTANT click here if your still not fixed upgrade manually off the official site.
