Setting a Magic Jack back up after years of no use

Post by Bobha »

I bought a magic jack years ago and cannot remember my phone number or e-mail address that I used to set it up. How can i set my magic jack back up after years of inactivity and a expired subscription? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Since you do not remember the email you used when you set it up the only recourse I can see is to contact MJ's online chat support via the MJ web page and hope for the best. Sadly I would not hold my breath of them doing anything to help, but hey one never knows.

Another alternative would be to use the new GVJack App discussed numerous places in this forum and available here:

You have already lost your original MJ number, so the only real difference would be cost. A one-time charge of $19.99 for the App (they seem to have a sale running on that about every other week) vs an annual fee of $30 for MJ.
