Importing contacts

Just to be sure, is there anyway at all to add many contacts into the soft phone with another program or anything.

I have 800 address I want to add to the phone so i can screen by caller ID and i am looking for a easy and free solution to add them all in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There is no way currently to do that. Hasn't been in the past either. At one time the contact list was exclusively in a file on your MJ. But now the "clone' is kept at their site. You may be able to edit the file by looking in your folders and opening with Filealyzer. BUT it only holds 100 entries!

For what you are describing, you should try the MagicContacts Plugin and the MagicFeatures Plugin together.

MagicContacts is a professional bulk import contacts facility for magicJack. It will easily handle thousands of contacts and lets you search for contacts by last, middle, first, nick and company name. When used with Magicfeatures, it will also display the name of the caller from the bulk contacts facility on your phone display and also let you block/screen callers.

The plugins are not free but they are free to try for 7 days. There are no viable free options for what you are trying to do.
