How do I get a local 760 area code telephone number. My current number is 239 491-4157

Assuming you're not transferring a number and you just need a new number since your number is being spoofed by someone as a spam caller:
login at http://my.magicjack.com

From tab 'Phone Numbers' pull down to 'View - Renew - Add'.
Click the 'Add phone number' button.
Follow the prompts.
It will cost you $10. Note that this will actually CHANGE your number. You will lose your existing number.

Why not see if that area code is avalible on Google Voice? If yes get a FREE Google Voice number and give it out and have it then forward all calls to your MJ # or even a cell and a landline, if you have one, or have all 3 ring when someone calls your GV#. Costs you zero AND you get to keep your current number...
