Whenever the called party answers, the audio stops for 2 seconds. Thus I do not hear the "Hello, this is..".
Per customer support,
I have forwarded UDP ports, 49152, 65525 and UDP ports 5060, 5070.
I have also installed DivX.
Nothing works. I have both MJ and MJ+, both have the same problem. I have tried disconnecting the MJ and the MJ+ still has the problem.
This problem occurs on every call.

Manual port forwarding, DivX, etc. have nothing to do with it. Could be your router, could be the MJ proxy serrver that your MJ number connects to, could be your ISP... try connecting your MJ+ directly to your MODEM and see if the problem goes away; if it does then the problem is probably with your router or its settings and if so I suggest doing this:
1. Power down modem, router and MJ+.
2. Disconnect all ethernet cables between modem, router and mj+.
3. Power up modem and wait until FULLY rebooted and reconnected to ISP.
4. Reconnect router to modem via ethernet.
5. Power up router and wait until FULLY rebooted.
6. Reset router settings to factory defaults then reboot.
7. Check to make sure that router has most up-to-date firmware version installed in it; if not update it EXACTLY as per manufacturer's instructions then reboot.
8. Connect MJ+ to router via ethernet.
9. Power up MJ+.
10 Check for audio delay on one or more calls.

WOW! Thanks SteveHC.
When I plug my MJ+ directly into my modem the dropped audio problem disappears.
Per your advice, I updated my router DLINK DIR 655 firmware from V1.21 to V1.35NA.
Unfortunately the dropped audio problem still exists.
But now I know where to focus to fix the problem.

- Yeah, some D-Link routers - especially (but not necessarily only) older models - have been known to not work quite so well with MJ. Some people have reported success by flashing them with the appropriate version of Tomato or DD-WRT (open-source, "generic" router firmware) . Personally, given the ready availability of cheap/factory refurbished routers from other manufacturers whose products seem to work better/more reliably with MJ right out of the box (often available for around $25 - that's what I paid for my factory refurbished Netgear model), *I* think it's easier to just get a more compatible router. But Tomato and DD-WRT are free or freeware, I believe, AND give you a lot more settings to play around with (and drive yourself nuts over)...
But first go through all of your router's settings, maybe some tweaking will help.

I found the problem. In my router, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol" is firewalled. I had to UNCHECK the SIP box. That fixed the problem.
Please note that there is also a "SPI" box. Don't confuse SIP with SPI.
Steps are for a DLINK DIR 655 router- under ADVANCED, FIREWALL SETTINGS, go to the bottom of the page, ALG, application level gateway configuration and uncheck SIP. Reboot the router.

- That's right; in some routers the SIP setting needs to be disable in order for Mj to work properly; in others, MJ works better with SIP enabled.
The same is sometimes true for secured NAT - sometimes MJ works fine with it enabled but occasionally a router's firmware needs this to be set to disabled in order for MJ to work properly.
For these types of settings, every router model is different - even models within the same brand may perform differently in this regard. Unfortunately, it's all usually just trial and error.
But SOME people have found that no matter WHAT they do with these router settings, their voip service doesn't work properly.
Glad you were able to figure out the way to get it to work well for your particular router! Have a great bunch of holidays!
