All home phones supported by MagicJack Plus

Post by gsp1952 »

I have 3 phones upstairs and 3 phones downstairs, how do I hook up
magicjack plus so I can use it instead of at&t. I want to get off this
telephone method and start saving money? Thanks in advance

All House Phones on Magic Jack

Good News!! You have to discontinue your AT^T service. Then do this:
1. Setup your Magic Jack Plus with whatever number and make sure it works
2. Where the ATT line comes into the house, disconnect that
3. The phones that originally ran off that feeder line should all be connected
4. Tell Magic Jack (online) to "port" your number. IF IT IS possible, and it probably will be, they will tell you that it may take several days, but, mine only took three days.
5. VOILA!! All the lines which normally operated, will work.
6. IF you have added lines via splits, etc., you may have to purchase new, more powerful connectors. Good Luck.
May your words be sweet enough that you will enjoy eating them later.

You forgot about connecting the MJ+ to the house, through any telephone outlet after the AT&T line is disconnected. Mine works that way.
