person called can't hear me

When I call someone I can hear them but they can't hear me.

The type of issue you mentioned has been addressed on this site more than once, so you might want to search through the site for info on it.
Using a "standard" magicJack, an "original" magicJack Plus, and the magicJack iOS app on an iPod Touch and iPhone

What kind of service are you using?
It will not work well over dial-up or satellite Internet.
