The problem is not one that you can correct on your own, but rather with MJ's servers and/or incorrect routing and/or telecom switch settings between telecom companies. And it can be a REAL PIA to get fixed.

As far as I know about all you can do is:

1. Make a list of the problematic numbers.

2. Try to determine the exact name(s) of the phone companies "responsible" for those problematic numbers.

3. Try to determine if the same problem exists regarding calls to/from OTHER numbers within the problematic numbers' towns, local exchanges (area code + 3-digit "prefix"), and/or other numbers controlled by the same phone company/companies that is/are associated with the known problematic numbers, or if the problem's confined EXCLUSIVELY to the specific numbers you've got on your list.

3. Report YOUR MJ #, the name of YOUR phone company ("YMAX COMMUNICATIONS" is the name of the phone company that serves all MJ customers), and a precise description of the problem affecting your calls to/from their number(s) to each of those *other* phone companies involved. This is *best* accomplished by trying to get the *subscribers* of those phone numbers to report your #, phone company name and problem description to their own phone company (a phone company is much more likely to be responsive to their own customers' trouble reports); do it yourself only if getting the other person(s) to do it is not possible.

4. Open a simple text editor. Write up a precise description of the problem, including the affected phone numbers, their associated phone company name(s), towns, local exchanges, etc. Be SURE to state that the problem occurs ONLY regarding calls to/from those numbers/companies/local exchanges/whatever, that your MJ service is otherwise operating correctly, that you've already checked you router's settings and that all is working properly there, and that you need them to forward your issue up to "the engineers" so that they can resolve the problem at their end as there is no problem at your end that can fix this problem. "COPY" your write-up of the problem into your computer's "scratchpad" memory.

5. Log into your MJ account online, start a "live help chat" session. PASTE your entire writeup of the problem etc. into the chat session.

6. If they try to waste your time with irrelevant crap like plugging/unplugging whatever, fiddling with router settings, etc., just tell them the problem is confined EXCLUSIVELY to the affected numbers (or whatever) and that therefor the problem exists within the MJ network, the server assigned to your MJ #, and/or its connection(s) with the affected numbers /(or whatever). Then RE-PASTE your writeup into the chat session.

7. Keep REPEATING step #6 until they agree to forward the problem on to "the engineers." You will need to be VERY patient and VERY persistent. If they keep giving you a hassle in any way, consider telling them that if they do NOT fix the problem within "x" period of time (say, a month - seriously) that you will have to drop your MJ subscription and go with some other VOIP provider.

Expect the resolution to take a LONG time - probably a month. Be prepared to possibly dump MJ as your VOIP provider if they and the other companies involved do not fix the problem within the specified time.

GOOD LUCK. I had the EXACT same problem a year or two ago; it took a full month to get fixed but I haven't had a problem since (it turned out to be the OTHER company's fault, NOT MJ's - CenturyLink to be exact).
