I have a Panasonic base model # KX-TG6441 with 5 cordless phones. I have the newest magic-jack that plugs into the wall outlet. I can make calls just fine and get through with clear sound... except for one big major problem and that is when I make a call to a bank or a store, for instance Best Buy and I want to chose a department from their options on the number key pad from either the cordless or base, it will not recognize the command.
I get the tone sound when I am trying to chose from options but for some reason I cannot get the phone to connect me to any department. So my questions is.... could the problem be with my phone? (which I did not have this problem before magic-jack) or can it be the Magic-Jack. Also has anyone else has had this problem also?
Thank you.
Cannot use number key pad commands once connected

This is the one case where only magicJack chat support can help you.
The problem has been reported before on this venue.
Basically, the first number you press gets repeated twice, while you're trying to navigate automated bank or support phone systems.
Get on live support at my.magicjack.com and tell them you're having DSTN problems and that you need to have your settings changed so that you can dial through automated support systems. They fix something on their side and suddenly it works.
