Hi,
I'm using Mac 10.7.5 and am behind a LinkSys E900 wireless router. Many times when making calls on MagicJack, people complain that "I'm breaking up", despite the fact taht my upload speed hovers between 700 kbps and 800 kbps (using RCN), as per speed tests. When using Skype or GotoMeeting, people can hear me just fine.
What steps can I take to troubleshoot/improve my situation? It's not an option to upgrade my Internet bandwidth at this time.
Thanks, - Dave

Re: People can't hear me on MagicJack
It sounds to me like you're using speakerphone on your cordless phone. I find most speakerphone setups are crummy, regardless of whether you're on magicJack or another service that uses an actual phone, cordless or otherwise. Are you using speakerphone or are you just using the handset as normal?laredotornado wrote:Hi,

Note: Skype and Gotomeeting both have great speakerphone methods, so I'm not talking about them. I'm talking specifically about corded/cordless phones with speakerphone capability.
