Error 3002

Post by briggz »

Hello all,

I have had my magic jack for about a year with no issues. Recently, I got a new modem (Motorola SB6121) and reset my router (Apple Airport Express). Those 2 have only 1 ethernet port each so I use a D-Link switch which has 5 ports.

Ever since the new changes my phone does not work and says error 3002, check internet connection. I have chatted the folks on the magicjack website which have done nothing but waste 3 hours of my life. I'm about to return this thing so I'll give it one last shot. Anyways, if I connect the cord from my modem directly to the magicjack internet port it works! But once I use the Airport Express I get error 3002.

I've read some of the forum tips here and chacked all the cables which work. I believe it might be a problem with the Airport Express blocking the connection or perhaps because I do not have a permanent IP address.

Please help!! Thank you :)
