MajicJack no longer Answering

I am using Magicjack plus with Windows Vista. I can make and receive calls but majicjack no longer answers the call - my phone does.

Is MJ+ plugged into the computer? or router?

Is phone line plugged into MJ+?

Or have you forwarded calls to your phone?

I'm assuming you have a regular land line, or no?

More details on your setup would be useful.

Thank you for your quick response.

The magicjack was originally plugged into my router which gets the signal from my cable modem. The phone is connected to the MJ+. I do not forward calls. I placed the magicjack into the computer but magicjack still did not pick up the call.

I don't understand your problem.

If your phone is connected to the MJ, the call will always go thru the phone, regardless of where it (the MJ) is plugged into .

I use the MJ+ as my house phone, and the wireless phones all over the house, pick up the calls. Why would you want it any other way?
