A MJ help person (and I use the word help in the loosest possible way here!) said that one could use 2 MJ dongles for a 2 line setup but didn't think it would work with more than that. That seemed odd. Almost every router in existence has 4 outputs. If one goes to your computer you have 3 others. One could have 3 MJ dongles with phone wires going to a 3 line PSTN phone. Is there really any way that wouldn't work? She mentioned that some routers are better at this than others. Huh? Does this make sense? No WIFI is used here.
Another operator said the same thing and said that one can only use 1 line for the softphone at a time. That would be so cool to have a multi-line system on your computer, like a little switchboard. I would think the computer would make it so much easier to manage as well compared to a multi-line phone. Well anyway it was a nice thought but impossible.
Multiple lines with Magic Jack?

The little switchboard idea can be achieved with voip adapters from Polycom (formerly known as Obihai). Take a look at their website:

and see if their equipment will do what you want.
