Phantom ringing??

My MJ works well, except often times, when I answer an incoming phone call I will hear a phantom ringing in the back ground of the earpiece for approximately 3 seconds and then it goes away. It sounds like the phone's ringer is continuing to ring one more time after I answer the call, but it's not the actual phone ringer it's only in the earpiece. Any ideas?

Yup, I noticed this as well. It didn't happen all the times, just occasionally. MJ softphone sw still needs bug sprayer

But remember, we're only paying $40 for this gadget ... it's been fun to play with and it saves me $20/month on LD plan that I removed from my landline phone service ... I can live with some minor imperfections
