I get a popup window with the message "No input/output audio devices found." Check to that your audio devices are present and/or connected, turned on, and their drivers are installed. My MJ was working fine up until Wednesday. I did everything I could think of on my computer (HP pavilion desktop) to enable anything to do with the Telephone or Remote access. I did all MJ site told me to do. I restored back to Tuesday, made one call and am getting the message again. I cannot make any outgoing calls. It is as if my computer recognizes the phone being accessed and just shuts it down. Anybody had this problem? I'm one step from sending it back to MJ.
Thanks

Don't send your mJ back until you try chatting with the boys at customer service... I had your troubles exactly. In the end, I was running Win SP1 and the guys in Bangalore told me the latest upgrade required SP2. One download and install later, I'm back with a dialtone, ability to call out and in and owing nothing to the fine folks at verizonattWorld. (It would be good if they mentioned that in the FAQ/Knowledgebase, huh?)
Hell is other people.

NO SOUND
I JUST INSTALLED MY MJ, AND IF I'M NOT AT MY COMPUTER I DON'T KNOW IF A CALL IS COMING IN. DON'T THE PHONES RING? I'VE ADJUSTED THE SOUND ON MY COMPUTER, BUT STILL NOTHING ON ANY INCOMING CALLS. IF I CAN'T HAVE A SOUND TO NOTIFY ME OF INCOMING CALLS I'LL HAVE TO SEND MY MJ BACK. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
MJ does not have much ringing power. If you have multiple phones connected (using splitters and/or connecting to your house wiring), try the phones one at a time, connected directly to MJ with a short cord. If you were using just one phone, try a different one, if available. If your PC is a desktop and your MJ is plugged into a front USB port, try one on the rear. If using an extension cable, try without it. If still no luck, a powered USB hub may help. Otherwise, your MJ is defective and you should ask for a replacement.
To be sure that it's not a software issue, download and install this test program: http://tjnet.com/software/download/voip ... up1313.exe . Kill the MJ app and start the test. Clicking the Ring Test button should cause your phone to ring.
