OH S**T Magicjack filled up the holes!!

Post by kumar »

Alright so I want to make a call at 11:30 using magicjack. I turn on my Panasonic and notice no dial tone. I walk over to my Linksys SPA 2102-r and see that my phone one light isn't on. So I think that they changed the password on me. I am currently using the magicjack softphone so any idea if it will ever be possible for me to get my adapter working again?
Please Help!!
Thanks
Kumar

Looks like they are requiring the software upgrade to your account in order for it to work (?)

I think the might have changed the password on us. Anyone have any ideas? When i plugged in my jack last night i got the sofphone with my number 000 - 000 0000 and then in the ad area it said a very important update in 60 seconds. Then it restarted with the lucky upgrading thing. So now its working from the jack. But does anyone have any ideas on how to make it work with the ATA again?
Thanks
Kumar

You can take a look at a recent Dan Borislow posting in a thread at Broadband Reports:

http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r187115 ... rt=280#end

Sounds like they might support BYOD for real in the March timeframe.
