1. Since you are using a wireless verizon connection, pleasee check your internet connection speed if you have enough bandwith with your magicJack, magicJack needs 128kps upload and download. Please go www.speedtest.net, in there please click the yellow pyramid and you will know your upload and download speed.

2. since you are using a wireless comnection, Your wireless connection consume much power. They interfere with your magicJack's power flow, thus making it suffer power insufficiency. At this point, I'm afraid you're required to use your magicJack with an AC-powered USB Hub.

3. please disable your antivirus and firewall, Sometimes, a strong firewall or router, will block the voice audio (called RTP) from reaching your Voip.com phone adapter.

1.To solve this issue, you should open the following "ports" on your router or network device:
Port range 5060 through 5065 (protocol: UDP)
Port range 10000 through 30000 (protocol: UDP)

2.And if are behind a network/external firewall or router, please open the following ports: magicJack uses ports UDP 5061, TCP 80 and TCP 443.

This is a wireless problem only. MJ works PERFECTLY via a Verizon DSL line along with other applications such as Firefox I've been simultaneous using MJ and talking to someone while poking around this forum via a web browser using a Verizon DSL connection. It's also plugged into a 4-port USB hub that uses no additional power other that via a single port in the computer. I do not have other high drainage device also on the hub. Also, MJ only need 80-90kb not 120kb as stated.
