Does magicjack work with JackPC?

Tho it looks and sounds great, nowhere did I find that it had it's own OS which is a main requirement to run a MJ.
It appears that these gadgets are dependent on an outside server to operate. This was looking at the ones that look like a wall plate. I did not research the ones that looked like a mouse.

That's not a new play on the old trick of the Internet appliance is it? I like the idea, but doubt it is worth much more than checking email or light surfing.

The device appears to have a proprietary OS (that runs on a RISC CPU). Though it appears to support plug-ins and additional software, I'd be surprised if it was either Windows or MAC OS compatible.

They cost to much so why bother. THe HP thin Clients or a cheap old computer running a p3 with a flash drive instead of a hard drive seems better.
