I got my MJ yesterday and plugged it into my wireless network laptop. It worked fine.
Today it doesn't work. After I dial a number all audio is gone.
My landline rings and the machine answers it but nothing on the MJ end.
Trying to call it is the same. It rings but no audio.
Hooking the laptop up wired makes it work fine...but I can't have it wired.
I've done just about everything I could think of, including reloading the wireless routers software.
Help !

The first thing I'd do is take your laptop over to a friend's house and try to connect and call with their network. If it worked, you'd pretty much know it was an issue with your WiFi.
What make/model of router do you have? Is it working as a gateway or an access-point. Is it behind another NAT router? Is it in double NAT configuration?

Thanks
After playing around with it tonight I decided to return the wireless router I bought yesterday and get a better one.
I plugged the network adapter back in and disabled the wireless. The MJ worked before the router but not plugged in as a wired device.
I really think the problem is the router not the MJ.
So..maybe have a new router tomorrow.

Re: no audio
It's all about the equipment, for example Linksys Wireless-G products work and Blitzz Wireless products don't !elk86004 wrote:I got a new wireless router today.
It solved the problem of no audio.
Everything is working fine now.
