Is there special Drivers?

Post by Jon Tuck »

I have an older Toshiba A 40 XP laptop which has received the Magic Jack showing in my computer but it doesnt load on my desktop I also attempted to connect a powered USB unit but it wont accept it. Are there drivers for download to make this work with this laptop? Im choked here trying to reconnect as my A100 lappy bit the big one and only have this one for use. Please give me some info to make this config work on this relic. Thanks in advance.

You could try deleting the USB Root Hub in device manager and see if XP reinstalls it

Start > Control Panel > System

Hardware Tab

Device Manager

*Note is there any problems in device manager at this point? If yes try to reinstall drivers for those devices

If no problems scan down to Universal Serial Bus Controllers and take a look at what is listed try reinstalling
