As I recall, you are having voice quality issues with your MJ. You cannot escape crappy internet srvice just by plugging in a different ATA.

What have you done to establish that you have solid underlying internet access?

I'm in NYC and the ISP service is Time Warner which is almost a monopoly. Fios is not yet available in my part of the city

What am I supposed to do? I bought a phone device not an engineering degree. Why is it that the user, or the computer, or the ISP is at fault and not MJ?. Is it possible that MJ is not a good product? My son uses Ooma and he says it works flawlessly. He also had MJ and gave up on it in a week.

I have used three different VOIP services in the past and they all worked on my system especially SunRocket. But MJ has been a nightmare. Just reading the forums should prove to many users that MJ has problems. What should I do, buy a new computer for the $20 device. It would be cheaper to buy Ooma @ $235. The only problem Ooma may not last.
