Should have said you wanted to run the spoofer in the first place

Take out the hosts file line I told you to add and put in
127.0.0.1 proxy1.nashville.talk4free.com

Now in the spoofer magicjack proxy box put
67.106.135.70

Thanks again,

Sorry that I'm working backwards  , but one last question.
How do i know that my proxy server is nashville to begin with?
Can i assume so, or do i need to verify that?

have you read the CID spoof thread. seems to me they have covered all the bases and even trouble shot quite a bit in there. please try the steps in that thread and ask questions there. It will keep the boards fairly clean and limit the repost of questions already answered. Not trying to be a jerk or put you down at all.

What other proxys are out there that we can use? I'm wondering if maybe some of the problems we're having with choppy audio is the nashville proxy is getting hit to hard with requests....
Any thoughts on this?

I don't have any problems, and haven't had any service issues since I did.

How is the proxy for a specific MJ set? I take it that as you move about within the country, the proxy would change. Or is each number assigned a proxy when it is registered and it carries that proxy information with it no matter where it is located? My background is radio comms, can someone recommend a short tutorial on this technology that may help get me up to speed?

Gerry_52: I don't know how it is actually set by MJ, but you can use this manual algorithm to determine which will give you the best performance based on where you are (i.e., steps 3 & 4 related to the trace route).

Given your background, this should also be interesting (IP geolocation).
