Thin Client MJ Quality Just As Good As Desktop MJ Quality?

Post by Jibu »

I am using my MJ on my laptop via a powered USB hub and have finally gotten the quality good enough to replace my home telephone service. I just bought a TC but can't seem to get MJ to work properly on 256/256 memory (is this possible anymore?). So, before I upgrade the memory, I would like to know - have you guys found the call quality to be comparable to when you use MJ on a higher-end desktop/laptop computer? Or, is the quality better/worse? Thanks.

I would say my call quality is great using a TC.

Quality on Desktop was 100%
Quality on TC 5700 is still 100%

MJ on my t5720 is extraordinary -- better voice quality than my wired phone line, and probably better than my laptop as my home system has a Hawking Broad Band Booster (which I highly recommend -- it prioritizes VOIP through the QOS service).

I just got everything hooked up and working properly on the t5710 and you are absolutely right! It is working PERFECTLY - even MUCH better than it did through my laptop. :D
