Change my Original Number

Post by andergraph »

I have read here that you can change your number now for a fee. I was one of the first to sign up and it was said that we could change for free when our area codes became availible but I have been searching and can not find a link to do this for a paid change or the promised free change. Can someone please fill me in on what is going on now. Thanks.

You can change it for free once. Go to my.magicjack.com for this.

When I first got magicjack, the area code for my area was not available. That would be the only reason I would want to change my number - to get a different area code. I live in Kansas (913), but had to take a Missouri (816) number because 913 was not available.

OK - so I see I can change number for free one time at my.magicjack.com. But before I do that, how do I find out if 913 has become available yet? Is there a list somewhere I can look at?

Thanks!

You can also check what areacodes are available by going to my.magicjack.com and proceeding to change your areacode. Check out what areacodes are available, then just exit or click cancel.
