MagicJack and putty

so does anyone know how to use putty to change the ports magicjack used my isp blocked ports 520 to 583 so magicjack wont work

i just use a spackle knife, be sure to smooth it out or it will not work...

What does putty have to do with MagicJack? Putty is a Windows SSH (and telnet and rlogin) client. Magicjack uses SIP ports - 5060 and 5070 (according to the MJ FAQ) so don't understand why you are worried about ports 520 to 583. Those ports have to be OPEN or MJ will not work.

I think he's asking if he can change what ports the MJ uses because the ports that the MJ is set up to use (by default) is blocked by his ISP.

Honestly, I don't know. I don't think so. Perhaps try calling your I.S.P and ask them to unblock ports 520 to 583?
