Is there a way to stop multiple sessions?

Hello,

I bought the MJ one night while battling insomnia, and so far, I'm happy with it considering the minimal investment.

My questions is regarding multiple MJ sessions starting when different users log on to the host machine. I have a machine in my kid's room that hosts the MJ and has 3 user profiles (one for me as administrator, one for the kid, and one for my wife for the few occasions she uses it. I usually leave my ID logged on (windows XP Pro) as it runs the MJ and activity monitoring software I have to track the kid's "online behavior". When I switch user and either of the other profiles is logged on, the setup starts and now I have 2 or 3 sessions running which all conflict with each other so the audio is horrible.

I have made several attempts to stop the start up of this program to no avail. Is there some way I can do this?

i am having this same problem. when i first installed magic jack, it didnt do this when logged into multiple windows sessions. this was annoying me due to the fact that i had to be logged into my password protected session to use the phone. not good if i was gone and the pc restarted and i didnt want to give my password to anyone that was at the house while i was out. so i logged into another session, unplugged the magicjack, waited a moment, plugged it back in and.. viola! now the software loaded with every session. i thought my problem was solved.. now.. if more than one person is logged in.. you can not use the phone to dial out, it will continue to give a dial tone after dialing. it seems like the answer would be to uninstall some software, disable the hardware, or something. anyone have any ideas? thx
