Just a few days ago I started to notice that every once in awhile the actual phone would not work... the MJ would work with a headset, but not the phone. No dialtone. I went into device manager and Under the power management tab for the USB Root Hub I unchecked "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". I haven't had the problem since. If I turn it back on... problem happens again intermittently. So... If anyone is having this problem try this. It may help.
Just remember it is the hub that has the "USB Composite Device" under the "Power Tab" showing a 500mA power requirement.
