I am new to MJ. I have run into two problems.
1. I can receive calls from any landline or VOIP service. Anybody calling me from a cell phone gets a variation of the number is not in service.
2. It seems that if I insert the MJ device while Skype, Windows Sidebar or Anydvd is running the MJ device locks up and in fact the computer locks up and I have to unplug. If I turnoff the three programs and then plug in MJ everything works fine.
Any ideas?

Re: Software Compatibility and Cell Phone Issues
The Windows Sidebar should not be a problem depending on what gadgets you have installed. The problem may be with AnyDVD. Go into AnyDVD and in the Drive > Settings, uncheck the YMAX drive. AnyDVD should not be looking at this drive... This will disbale this drive in AnyDVD.paulnole wrote:I am new to MJ. I have run into two problems.

Yes, you are correct the Windows Sidbar does in it's original form. However, depending on what gadgets one is to place on the sidebar would determine what problems would arise. Thise gadgets are little programs that run all the time and could potentially cause issues if they were not coded corretly.PTravel wrote:Definitely not a problem with Windows Sidebar -- runs perfectly on my Vista Business laptop.
So it would really depend on what gadgets this person has running to determine if the sidebar is a problem or not....
