You couldn't get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.

You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days of experience.

You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.

But

'From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be

Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World .... 143 days.

We all have to start somewhere. The Senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that's all it is - a start.

AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him. We wouldn't accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America ?

Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol!

what is our alternative? Another 4 years of hell?

Can our economy survive with another Bush as president? Should we keep our brothers and sisters in harms way in Iraq? Oh wait they are still looking for WMD and freeing the world of terrorists. Most Americans have forgotten why we went to war in the first place.

The people in Washington are morons they keep spending like their is no tomorrow and keep selling out the American middle class worker in the name of making a profit.

Keep this crap up much longer and they will be able to bury the whole country in the economic hole they are digging for us. :(

Trickle down economics has never worked properly and it's time for a major fix I don't care who gets in office.

To say that voting for McCain, I.E. theRrepublicans would be putting another George W. Bush in the White House is ludicrous. However, I am willing to go with that logic for the sake of discussion, so lets assume that Barack Hussein Obama is indeed elected President.

The liquor stores around Pennsylvania Avenue better beware, a black man just moved into the neighborhood!

I hope I made my point. Stereotyping and believing in the stereotype is just another form of ignorance.

You are voting for whoever the powers that be put in front of you.

Both parties are on the same side, they just put on a fight just like the WWE.

Stop worrying about the presidential candidate and find out who your local representitives are and what they stand for. Voting local will make a much bigger difference than who gets in as figure head.

Not really true. The next POTUS will have a huge effect on all of us by virtue of his appointments to the SCOTUS.

The checks and balances in our Republican form of government are tenuous. Our freedoms are outlined in our Constitution and already we have seen the too much of the liberal justices which compromise our SCOTUS today.

Remember they allowed the local governments to take away our property so some developer can but it and build something which will generate more taxes. I do not believe this is what the framers of our Constitution had in mind when they allowed for "eminent domain", when necessary, for the good of the people. They clearly meant so that roads etc. could be built.

The SCOTUS just recently upheld our 2nd amendment rights by a 5 to 4 vote. Now we are talking about very basic right clearly spelled out in the Constitution and supported with tons of historical background; but this only passed by a narrow margin.

If we get more liberal justices appointed, who lean toward true Democracy, which I equate to Mob Rule, then how long will our rights under the Constitution hold up?

I think McCain is much more likely than Obama to appoint justices who would uphold the Constitution as it was intended.

Obama scares me with his idealistic view of the world all coming together peacefully if we just talk. Anyone who is naive enough not to understand that there are folks who will always want to kill, us as long as we are better off than they are is IMHO very wrong.

His lack of understanding I liken to that of his predecessor Clinton who when we were attacked fired off a couple of missiles into the desert in a big show and then did nothing more. And what did that bring us later 9/11 thats what.

Does anybody really think that we have not had a major attack on our soil for the past seven years because the terrorists changed their minds and no longer wish to do us harm? The cost of freedom is high! But the cost of doing nothing is even higher.

The choice of a POTUS is more important today than perhaps it has ever been in our history.

I want a someone I can trust. I want someone who has a long proven record of making decisions I can examine to predict what his future decisions will be. I do not want someone who has served 143 days in Congress and even then not had the guts to actually vote yes or no on many many occasions but rather voted "present".

I want a POTUS who has had actual military service to be my Commander and Chief not some admitted drug user who has close ties with the likes of Ayers, Raines, Rezko et. al.

Bush did one hell of a job selling the war. Only a master salesman could have thought to hire those pilots to fly those planes into the World Trade Center.

You should stick to subjects you know something about, like downloading ringtones or mp3's.

You would be surprised about how much I know about the subjects.

I have spent the last 4 days calling and faxing. I think I have sent out 50 faxes to senators by now. This bailout bill should not even be considered!!!

I think you all are right, but when the bill does pass, I'm buying a new boat.
