magicjack stops working when i play a certain videogame

alright, so i play this video game called grand chase.

the only thing that differentiates this video game from other video games i play is that it uses gameguard to protect against hacking in game. i don't experience any problems with MJ when playing any other games but i do experience problems when i play this game. soooo basically i think that's where the problem lies.

what happens to MJ: dial tone disappears, not possible to make phone calls. phone rings but as soon as you pick up the phone there's silence on the other line.

tl;dr: when i play the game grand chase that uses gameguard anti-hacking technology, my magicjack doesn't work.

also, something maybe relevant: i'm running magicjack as a service by following this tutorial

I play Call Of Duty 4 on Xbox live and talk to my girlfriend all the time and their is no problems for me. I was surprised to see it could handle it. I also can have eight "rapidshare.com" links going at 80kbs per second with out problems. If your wondering, I am running a cable connection with a 3/mb connection speed. That averages out to be 1.4 mbps on sites that measure this speed. So if your having problems it might be your connection. Yeah I think the game protection is the problem, if you dedicate a pc or thinclient to running your MJ, you might see this go away. Just build a cheap one, that's what I did. Found in the garbage a 667 mhz 256 mb of ram E-Machine. Runs fine!
