I have an ATA brand SipTalk, model AC-211-GTT-S, which seems to be very similar to the other AC-211 ATAs but I have been unable to login as admin.
This is what I have tried:
(1) These known passwords (without the comma): (blank), 7UprUtew, s.M, ~~u*9, ~~s#U, io$c6%2, 18, ~~}G^
(2) Resetting the gizmo by dialing ##3332858, as mentioned here
The device did reset, but the blank password is for user access, not admin.
(3) Running the AC-211 password cracker from this blog
By default, there's no user password, so it gives success at try 0, with a crc16 of ~~}uR but that didn't work. I set the ATA's user password to "password" and then ran the cracker and it went until it found SUCCESS (54994) which crc16 then outputted ~~~c] but trying this password only gave user access. I then learned that this is the the crc16 of the user password "password" which i verified by changing the user password to something else and then trying to login with the same crc16 pw but didn't work.
Does anyone else have any ideas? Is there a way to get the password cracker to find the admin password before it finds the user password... should i set the user password to something specifically? Note: I have also posted this on dsl reports, but wanted to see if anyone here had any tips.

I forgot to mention that after resetting (by dialing ##DEFAULT) the user password is blank and any password entered is successful, no matter what, but it's only user access.
Aside from running the crack after resetting, I also tried getting in by going to http://sunrocket.zefie.com/ It says to reset and then try that page to get in with CRC16 of 20350 which is one of the known passwords of ~~}G^ but that didn't work either.

I think you're right. I got some default passwords from another person who got them from SipTalk (they didn't mind giving them out as this model has been phased out), but they didn't work either. I'm just going to return it and get another ATA.Poo619 wrote:I don't think sunrocket passwords will work on a SipTalk ata. you need to search for SipTalk passwords.
