Choosing an ATA

Post by SpamBox »

So I've been thinking about setting up the Gizmo/GC "project" on to an ATA.
If you had to choose between these, which would you choose:

pap2 – forever unlocked
rt31p2 – forever unlocked
RTP300 – w/keys and –NA firmware installed (survives factory reset)

Trying to decide which to go for.
Thanks for your input.

how about this one, Linksys WRT54GP2, 54g wireless router, 3 LAN-ports, 2 ATA ports. I got one permanently unlocked from ebay for $55 shipped:

This one works great with Comcast, I get 12 Mbps down 1.5Mbps up, wireless signal also very decent even with only 1 antennae. This router has a setting to give Voice calls (ATA ports) higher priority than data (LAN ports), i.e. better QoS setting for VOIP calls. So far all my VOIP calls via FreeWorldDialup have been excellent, no echo, no delay, just perfect sound just like landline.
