I am getting the same problem. How will I erase those favorite lists on my softphone Favorites. I dont want them to appear there. Is there any way we can stop those from getting into our softphone??snowigloo wrote:If i put my magicjack on another computer does it save all my favorites from the other computer? You could use Firefox, run MJ as another user, run it as a service, run it in a virtual machine, or run it on a thin client.torniquet wrote:Is there any way we can stop those from getting into our softphone??

Re: Favorites
I discovered that MJ actually uses a modified Internet Explorer browser in its User Interface. Those ads are actually small web pages. kinda sucks, if you ask me. That is why the Favorites are there...because it is using IE.torniquet wrote:Okay. I will try that one. I'd recommend just switching web browsers. Internet exploder isn't that trust worthy either. Reset IE, then use another web browser. magicJack will be unable to get any accurate 'favorites', since they're all 'bookmarks'.
