can't call out, hear 3 quick busy signals no matter who I try to call. anyone else having this problem?
Busy on dial out except for toll free numbers
I noticed this problem this evening.. my magicjack has been working incredible. I told many people about it.. and now this.. grrrrr..

Its ALL DOWN no Out bound calls... only incoming. poor customer service and support..

No outgoing calls
Same here. Can't place outgoing calls, only incoming works. Toll free numbers work though. And this is my first day

Same here can call 800 and receive calls but no outgoing. Just got it today, not a very good start for magicJack
Me, too. No outgoing....just 3 busy signal beeps. And, my 911 is now a red button! You'd think they'd send out some stock, bulk emails to everyone notifying people of the outage instead of having us mess with our computers, booting and rebooting, trying different numbers over and over, trying to MagicFix everything, etc.. This sucks.

It's called the MagicJack Shuffle - it's great exercise. Dan's supposed to coming out with a dvd with a complete program for only 19.95/yr, includes musical hits such as "Ad Clicks". What's also great is it captures the Power of Affirmations, with such powerful statements as, "Lucky You!". I can't call out either. Same symptoms; three (3) quick busies, then nothing. However, I CAN call my MJ number to check voicemail. MAYBE MJ didn't pay YMAX for PSTN connection!
MAYBE YMAX didn't pay IT'S bills.

MJ appears to be on a fast track out of my life
I had numerous problems with MJ over the last several days. Me and a guy in the support chat "room" are on a first name basis. I have lost last two and a half hours trying to figure out what the HECK is wrong. Then I remembered to look here, in this forum...
As much as the MJ could be cool...it has a serious problem: no communication with customers whatsoever. The whole website is written as to resemble more and more an "aren't YOU feeling dumb for giving us your money now?" operation.
If this problem doesn't miraculously fix itself by tomorrow morning when I go to work, this baby is going back to papa Dan (or whatever his name is) and I am claiming my money back, ALL of it, INCLUDING shipping.
Someone once said something to the effect of: "I am not wealthy enough to buy things on sale..." I'm starting to understand the sentiment behind the thought...

I totally understand. I have about another 12 days before my 30 days are up....of course not going to wait the full 30 days if i do return. Giving it another 5 days. Mine came in the mail yesterday - set it up, worked like a charm. I was impressed.
Moved from the basement to the couch to coordinate some GPS stuff, tried a call and the busy signals of doom started.
Like all of you, I moved to the kitchen & began the MagicJack Fix crap - waste of two hours -
Then came across this forum at 11pm - my registration confirmation [for this forum] didn't show up in yahoo mail till this morning] or I'd have joined the ranks then.
If this is truly a intermittent device, I'll be returning as well because [it'll be, to me] useless.
I suggest we set up an online petition which we'll all sign & include with our returns.
This'll ensure chargeback/refunds that include shipping!
Do I see any hands?

I hope that I am not jinxing myself, but I have had my MJ
for almost a week now, and have experienced none of the constant problems others are experiencing. I figure that since it is all Beta, they will get the bugs out sometime soon. i have integrated my Mj with my Grandcentral, and it is all working great as of now. I live in Arkansas, and was able to get a local Grandcentral number, which worked great because MJ doesn't have anything in Arkansas yet, but it doesn't matter since my GC just rings my MJ thru to me. And the price,wow, beat that somewhere else.

I've got a brand new MJ. Installed on my Dell Laptop running XP. No outgoing or incoming calls, just 3 beeps. Not able to call my MJ number, just 3 beeps. MJ tech support no help! Installed on my desktop and it works. Installed on my wife's Toshiba laptop and it works. Set my laptop back a week and reinstalled, three beeps! Tried a powered USB hub on my laptop, 3 beeps.
THIS IS GOING BACK!!!!!

Have you got any firewall on your laptop? like Zone Alarm, Norton firewall try deactivate all firewalls you got and see (deactivate windows firewall as well)
