Magic jack not recognized loads home page

Hi,
My magic jack worked fine for awhile, even in Morocco. Last night I loaded Skype and a skype usb phone. Now magic jack keeps telling me to plug into usb and then it loads mj home page. Updates gives error message Storage Broken. Tried to reformat, no help. Tried to remove "mjusbs" and "mjusbsp", could not find. Any ideas would be appreciated. I have used on desk top and notebook, running XP.
