What types of specs are you looking for?Saraw wrote:I need technical specs for MJ. Can anyone help?

The MJ is just a TJNet device, so you can find much technical information on the TJNet site.
From the magicJack website:Saraw wrote:I need general specs of what MJ is and how it works. Doesn't have to be too involved. The request was actually for a "prospectus" but I think specs is what they mean.

If you are simply an end user, all you need to do to use a magicJack is to:Saraw wrote:Thanks for the info. I know I said the specs don't have to be too involved but that graphic is a little thin on info.
What about the Tiget Jet device you mentioned? Can I say that MJ is based on that technology and send them to the website? Is Tiger560B the page I need?
1) buy one from magicJack
2) plug it into your windows machine
3) Plug in your phone
4) Start making calls*
*The first time you plug in your jack, it auto installs the required software on your computer, and walks you through the registration process to pick out a phone number.
Under the covers, the magicJack is nothing more than a tigerjet chipset, using standard VoIP. All questions about the actual magicJack can probably be answered in the magicJack FAQ.
If you have specific questions, please ask.
