computer shutdown
I used magicjack twice and had no problem. I tried to use it today, and my computer shutdown twice. How can do you stop this from happening?
This should not (and usually does not) happen, so no real good answer.
This may, however, be caused by a conflict with your anti-virus software (assuming you have something on your computer).
If you do, try rebooting with the MJ unplugged, then after the computer has finished initializing and the anti-virus is happy, then plug in the MJ.
I have heard of 1 (ONE) case where this fixed the problem, but did not really resolve anything because they didn't want to plug and unplug their MJ.

You can try formatting your magicjack, that may help. Be aware that it will delete all of your contacts and call logs.
To format the magicJack flash RAM, right click on the magicJack flash RAM icon drive letter in My Computer and choose format.
(Don't worry if you see two magicJack drive icons in My Computer. Only one of them is flash RAM and will let you format it. The other one is flash ROM and cannot be formatted)
Then click "OK". (You can check quick format if you'd like)
