my phone ring but can not hear any voice

hi,my name is alan and i would be appriciate if some one can help me,my problem is after installing magic jack i tried to make call i had dial tone when i make call the phone on other side keep ringing, i had tried on my cell phone,same thing happen my cell was keep ringing when i pick up my cell and tried to talk i can not hear any voice,if some one can help me i would be thankful, and thanks in advance
