dan is exactly right. What dan said (MJ + Asterisk + DISA) is precisely how I make international calls from my cell phone. The only difference is that I have my Asterisk programmed to recognize my cell phone's and my wife's cell phone's Caller ID and skip the IVR, input of the DISA access code and input of the our individual DISA code.
If I, or my family or customers, need to call in from some place where cell phone service is unavailable or too costly (like when roaming), we just use a local phone to call a local access number in most parts of the world, from where we can input a routing code that gets us directly to the DISA prompting Dial Tone, from where we enter our individual DISA code and get our individual Dial Tone.
I've had this configuration working for about 4 years now.
p.s. Yes, mufon, unlike Asterisk@Home, TrixBox is indeed a very heavily crippled shadow of an Asterisk system.
