every time I turn the computer on or restart it I get a Broken Storage Error and have to reformat it again ! Did a clean install of XP but still have the same problem. Worked beautifully for about 4 months though .......
Any ideas ??? Thanks *

Spent a total of 4 hours with MJ tech support without solving the problem. Now, the MJ won't even register with their server and i was able to make calls fine before we tried to fix my problem......
Anyway, after I refused to do anymore troubleshooting, they agreed to send me another unit. THANK GOD !!!!
So the fix for this problem is REPLACEMENT !

You may need to think about the things dead chat had you do, and undo those things. They tell people to do things that are harmful, like opening inbound firewall ports. Or, setting all background process priority to High.dexterdoo wrote:Anyway, after I refused to do anymore troubleshooting, they agreed to send me another unit. Also, I wonder if the broken storage error isn't caused by unplugging the MJ device without going through the "safely remove hardware" steps. The softphone opens and writes to that device every 3 seconds (even when you're not in a call). So, if people just unplug the device, it's just a matter of time until they'll corrupt the flash drive on that device.
Another example of MJ not helping customers do the right thing. The softphone detects that the device has been removed. But, it just exits. It would be more helpful to display a pop-up warning that the device shouldn't be removed like that. And, if the softphone provided an "exit" option, it could close and unmount the device.
