Do a speed test let us know what the results are.. Are you running anything like torrents in the back ground? What is your system?? Gotta have a lot more info to know what to suggest..
Also, what have you done so far?

What I like to do is tell people to call the echo test number (909-390-0003) and count from 1 to 20. Then, keeping that call active, go to http://www.speedtest.net, start a test, and begin counting for the full duration of both the download and upload tests.msiam wrote:Do a speed test let us know what the results are..
That's a perfect demonstration of how bad VOIP can suffer due to processes competing for bandwidth. Using QoS, a person can expect approximately the same quality they hear during the first countdown (with no speed test occurring) regardless of other competitors for bandwidth. It's unlikely it would ever get as competitive as it does during the test (saturated as the full speedtest download/upload). But, if it does, my experience has been that they can expect about 95% of the quality of the no-load countdown.
And that's assuming they don't have other background competitors robbing bandwidth right now. If they do, the quality of the no-load countdown could be improved by QoS.

Oh yeah.. Never saw that before.. that makes sense.. I tried it, I got a second delay myself, when I never have problems..I dont know how far away that number is from Milwaukee, but , Hey.. that probably would give a whole lot of info that I wasn't asking for.. I will, in the future, refer this kind of problem to this method.. Thanks
