No Dial Tone Phone Quits Functioning

I have a recurring problem with losing dial tone and my phones, I've tried analog cordless and corded, seem to quit communicating with MJ. They can work fine all day then I go to make a call and they're dead. They have power to them but it's like the MJ isn't connected. I can place a call with the soft phone but when I try to use my phone there is no dial tone and the MJ soft phone doesn't pop up. If I call my MJ the soft phone pops up but my phone doesn't ring if I pick up my receiver it's dead. If I reboot my computer everything goes back to normal. MJ tech support had me just reboot my router but that didn't do anything, they also had me run the recover tool that didn't help neither did the magic fix. The MJ blue light stays on. Any ideas?

I don't know if this helps, but perhaps it's a start...make sure the software is set to use with a telephone and not set for headphones. Anything more and I'm at a loss.

they told me - finally - that I had a bad MJ.

Not that I am convinced.
I rcvd a new one only to be presented with a new issue - I can't transfer my existing MJ number to the new hardware - and they charged me full price for the replacement MJ - will I ever see a refund is the next upcoming issue.
