error broken storage

Ever since the 12-21 upgrade each day I boot my XP Home system I get "error broken storage" screen.
I've been able to get it to work formating 18meg drive as per support article but I never had this message until this upgrade happened.
I have been using MJ since August 08 no problems to speak of.
Anyone else having the same problem?
