Call your MJ phone number. Press '*' when the answering system answers. Enter 1234 as your password. You will be prompted to do different things include record a greeting and change your password (recommended).

Can you describe how it didn't work? Like, did you get a busy signal?
I've read a few new registrants say their voicemail didn't work. They contacted chat support (from the www.magicjack.com) and they made a change to something to make it work.
If you don't want to wait and see what happens, or if it never clears up, you could try that. It should be relatively safe. The chat support people should have no reason to walk you through 3 hours of scripted debugging. If voicemail doesn't work, that's pretty clearly server side.
in tech support they made like some kind of refresh to the voicemail and it get back to work in my case i was not receiving the email notifications they refresh my voicemail and everything work perfect sence then ...
