MJ always drops my incoming calls

Post by daninsatx »

Hi, I have been using MJ now happily for months, but in the last 2 weeks, i cannot get MJ to pick up an incoming call. I got on chat with help support, but her tests did not fix this issue.

Anyone else have the problem? Know how to fix? Is the MJ usb device broke?

thanks,
Dan

Are you using a handset connected to the USB device? If so, have you tried using a headset with the softphone?

Are you using a router? If so, have you tried connecting directly to your cable/DSL modem?

Have you tried shutting down MJ for 15-30 minutes and trying again?

this thing worked for a long time. No hardware or software changes that i know of.

so i have a phone attached, run it as a service normally.

so testing i run it outside of the router same problem, i turned it off, router off, cable modem off for 30 mins, no fix

I can only think of trying "MagicFix." It should be a button above the "Send" button on your softphone.

If that doesn't work, I can't think of anything else. I would go to MJ support chat and tell them how you tried the fix, bypassing your router, and using a softphone with headset instead of a handset.
